We are a small business started by a retired Police Officer of 38 years. I am married to a Professional organizer (Better Organized Sarasota.com). We both are Licensed Realtors.
  • I’m a sole owner and single employee (at Present) who has lived and worked in the Tampa Bay/ Sarasota area for 54 years. I have a BSW in Social Work from University of South Florida.  I worked as a Counselor and Child Abuse Investigator for the State of Florida prior to becoming a Police Officer.
  • I have been a Certified Police Officer since 1986 (still Certified) and retired for the second time in 2023. I am currently still employed by the Sarasota County School Board as a substitute teacher; after being a School Resource Officer for four years.
  • I am starting this business to provide a well needed service for residents who wish to feel safe and confident their homes are being checked while they are away from their houses for extended periods of time.
  • I plan on hiring only retired police officers (in good standing) if I decide to expand my business.

Home Watch is Weekly or Bi-weekly visits, in which we visually check for Obvious issues with the intent on catching them early before they become large and costly repairs.  This is a complete visual inspection of the exterior and interior of your house and property.  We are looking for signs of damage, water leaks, mold, pests; as well as signs of appliances and air conditioning failures.

Why Hire a Home Watch Service:

While you are away, your home can have signs of vacancy that may attract unsavory individuals.  Windows and doors are Unintentionally left unlocked.  Storms and flying debris can damage windows and screen that may provide an invitation for pests and water intrusion.  You cannot alsways count on your neighbors too keep an eye out for your home while they keep up with their busy schedules and life events.
